(16503) Citi credit card error

I had seen posts about people having issues connecting to Citi. I had not had that issue myself and it looks like those are marked as resolved. But now of course I'm having issues. I tried changing my connection to Quicken and Direct Connect and neither works. When it goes to the Citi website to authenticate, the page just shows a mostly white screen and no confirmation that it's authenticated. Here's the full error. Anyone else having issues still? How were they resolved if you fixed it?

There was an unknown error trying to update this connection. Please try again later. (16503)

Figured it out. I had to disable content blockers and allow pop ups on Citi's site. I am not able to connect using Quicken Connect.

Direct Connect hasn’t been working for my Citi cards since late Friday (though I haven’t yet tried connecting today). I’m just waiting out the weekend to see if it works on Monday.

Same, at least I think I was on Direct Connect before. Honestly never fully understood the difference. I think DC goes right to the financial institution and they may charge while QC goes through Quicken's aggregator. Either way, it doesn't appear the Citi charges for DC and it worked for me.

In my experience, credit card & brokerage accounts that support DC usually don't require a fee since the connection is one-way & you're just downloading. For bank accounts like checking & savings DC is more likely to be a 2-way connection with the ability to upload transactions & bill payments as well as download, and those types of connections usually require a monthly fee.
