Reconciliation Issue with Citibank - No opening balance issue
Like many, for the past year or so I have been unable to reconcile my accounts with Quicken using the on-line balance. My opening balance is accurate so that is not the issue. Last month, I painstakingly printed out all my statements for the year (the previous year balance was correct) and went through each transaction. I corrected all errors (there were some dups, etc.) and attempted to reconcile but was still given an adjustment figure. I decided to simply save the adjusted difference amount in hopes that going forward it would reconcile correctly. Unfortunately, I tried to reconcile again today after just one month and it said I had a difference of @$3000. Ridiculous. I am going back to manually entering everything. The on-line system takes hours to get to nowhere. Does anyone know of any fix? Quicken has one job…to provide a working accounting system. Get it together…or I'm out.

@Nunks212 - The title of your post says "No opening balance issue." But you 2nd sentence says "My opening balance is accurate so that is not the issue."
Please clarify this so I can better understand what the issue is.
