"New Match" tranx duplicating existing tranx

I have a number of reminders recorded for bills and income items. When they pop up as upcoming below the register, I enter them in the register.

Occasionally, when I run an automatic download, one of the items will appear automatically in the register, with a blue label "New Match," which creates a duplicate charge or income and an error in my balance. The item is one that has not cleared the bank.

This seems to happen only occasionally and I am unable to discern a pattern. I can't find anything in the bill/income setup that may be causing this. Maybe if I understood what a blue labeled "New Match" is supposed to convey, I could make the fix to make it stop.

Here are the details of my application. I review each downloaded tranx before accepting. I do not "accept all."
