Savings Goal Process
I am investing $cash into an investment that will earn interest. I create an asset and then converted this asset to a lending loan. This works perfectly for me. This time I am investing the full amount over time (25%+25%+25%+25%). I setup savings goal with the future payments coming out of my cash account into the goal so I know that cash is accounted for. I then added a transfer into my savings goal to the asset. It appeared to make sense to me: the cash account balance reflected the future withdraws, the savings goal had a $0 balance, and the asset had the total amount of the loan. Now I sent $ from cash account to the borrower. I can't figure out how to match the actual withdraw to the savings goal. I edited the savings goal date to match the actual withdraw date hoping Quicken would recognize it as a match but nope. Did I setup this up correctly? I could simply delete the savings goals at each interval but would be nice to make the flow work properly.
