JMO but it's not exactly a Nordstrom problem. Nordstrom uses TD Bank USA as the issuer. TD Bank should list Nordstrom as a credit card when we search for setup. There are several TD options but none seem to work to setup downloads for Nordstrom.

I am getting the same PFA prompt (can get the code and enter the code but then it says it has an error), and am unable to load the qfx file into quicken from the website. when i open the qfx file, it has the transactions in an xml format but I don't know why it won't load into my account or into an "other account".

So, an update came down a few days ago (build 27.1.60.20). I thought it would help with this Nordstrom Card problem. It changed the problem but didn't resolve it. While I can now find Nordstrom Card in the list of available online services, I still can't authenticate and pull-down transactions. When I try to connect, it takes a bit to find my accounts at "Norstrom Card Account". Then, I'm prompted to select either SMS or Email for MFA. When I select SMS, I get a text with a code like I should. I enter the code and then after spinning for a minute I get a nice "Sorry, We encountered an error. (It's not your fault.)" which is great because I really thought it was me and not some bad release.

having the same issue. Nordstrom Credit card data won't automatically refresh. When I try to import a QFX file I created from the nordstroms transactions, I get OL-221-A error. Guessing this is all related to the issues in this thread. I have bookmarked the known issue and am hoping for a quick resolution.

In November the Nordstrom credit card operation moved transaction reporting to a new website. Previously Nordstrom used a TD Bank run website for this purpose.. TD Bank is well versed in relating to third party financial software like Quicken. The new website obviously is not, as Quicken stopped working with Nordstrom with the move to the new website. The problem is now two months old. Some of you who have posted on this thread have said you have called Nordstrom to ask about Quicken, and the response was that they were unaware of a problem, i.e. they do not think Quicken is their problem. Why would Nordstrom choose to make a move that degrades service for its credit card customers? The likely reason, in my view, is cost cutting. The Nordstrom family has shown intention to take the Nordstrom company private. i.e. no longer trade its shares in public markets. This kind of move is usually timed to remove the shares from stock markets when they are cheap, intending to return to these markets when the shares can reasonably be offered again at a higher price. How does the Nordstorm family intend to make Nordstrom shares more valuable, i.e. make Nordstrom more profitable while it is private? . All department store chains, including Nordstrom, have struggled with declining in store customer traffic. With store revenue challenged, cost cutting has to be a priority. TD Bank has not been handling Nordstrom credit card operations for free. The new Nordstrom credit card website appears a move to cut costs, even if customer service suffers. For a Nordstrom credit card customer, a loss of a Quicken connection to its Nordstrom card transactions should be the least of worries. Instead, worry about the customer service to expect from Nordstrom if something more important goes wrong, e.g. fraud charges on the Nordstrom card. Dealing with lost, stolen, or misused credit cards can be a hassle with any card issuer. It can be a nightmare with some. Where else has Nordstrom cut costs in its customer service operations? For me, the Nordstrom credit card has been deep sixed. There are better things to worry about.

I had the same experience as @mrlent with the added bonus of Quicken Classic now CRASHING when I try to execute a one-step update on my other accounts.

Still no transactions downloading from Nordstrom Card services. In the last few days, I get a little further than before in the settings process. It asks for my username and password but then comes back with an err FDP-106, Acct Mismatch, Case 106. I have called Nordstrom Card services twice, no one in Customer service can help me, they say someone will call me back, but they never do. Now what? Where does the problem lay?

Same error as @rackuhn4 and @Mallard45. As with them, this is different than November-December errors.

In Windows version R60.20, an attempt to re-link the Nordstrom Card now immitates the native sign on to the card…. after accepting username/PW, it then sends a verification code to mobile or e-mail. After entering that code, the system appears to be communicating with the card system, but then Quicken's online activation effort fails.

It's progress, but not success. Have tried for 2 days with the same result.

I have not been able to download from Nordstrom credit cards since first of November. I too use Quicken to manage most of our household transactions on the Nordstrom account. Guess we will have to change but I will contact Nordstrom one more time. Very frustrating.

I am presently seeing a prompt to connect my account. After I opt for the verification code options and submit the code, I am met with a message indicating, "Whoops, it’s not your fault."

I tried as well, same result. I called Nordstrom again and their story is that Nordstrom updated its site and now it's up to Quicken to do so. Passing the buck. Not sure this person knows.

A few weeks back, I wrote Nordstrom Card (the part of TD Bank that issues Nordstrom's credit cards) to express my frustration about the inability to download transactions as in the past. The reply stated that a Nordstrom Card/TD Bank is aware of the problem and is working to correct it. My guess is that there was some sort of system change and the interface with Quicken was overlooked. Hopefully it will be replaced soon.

I have been receiving a cc-800 error on Nordstrom card account for several weeks, after a Quicken update. I decided to delete the account and add it back.😟

When I tried to add it, I received the following error:

That "Community Alert" has not been updated since November 22, 2024.

    VERY UNHELPFUL

Suffering same issue since October only workaround I found is to export csv from Nordstrom card site and then modify to comply with the "mint" standard and then import csv.

Hope they'll fix this issue soon as this workflow is unacceptable.

gustakovish, what is the “mint” standard? I’d like to try your workaround

Seems Quicken is mounting a campaign to discourage consumers from using the Nordstrum card. Or is Nordstrum mouning their own own campaign against themselves by not meeting the required interface. Whoever the at-fault party, I now use the Nordstrum card very little, if at all. Congrats to Quicken or Nordstrum or both for accomplishing your goals. :)

We have a new card to use instead of Nordstrom. I have been downloading transactions for at least 15 years with Nordstrom. This has been very unexpected and frustrating.

@CEdwards it's just the order of columns needed in the CSV file so it can be imported; when you export csv from Nordstrom the order is different so you need to open the file in excel and change the order to match the example I pasted above. If you try to import the csv file as exported from Nordstrom it will give you an error listing the column order and the fields required to be populated. Just make sure to fill the account name with the account name you use in quicken.
