Does Quicken have access to the datafile on my PC?
I use Quicken to primarily to download my credit card data in to my PC datafile. (Account where it does not need to store a password to may account.) My other accounts I enter the data/transactions manually. I do not use the cloud services. When I opened Quicken today a dialog box opened asking me to agree to let Quicken access my account data, account numbers, transactions, etc as part of having a Quicken account. It did not seem to indicate any limitation to account where I am having them fetch transactions. I closed it without accepting it, and it has not come back. Unfortunately I did not take a screenshot, but will if it comes back. I can not find any clarity in Quicken's privacy or data collections policies

Hello @Jeeter,
Quicken does not have access to your offline data as it primarily stores your financial information locally on your computer, meaning your data remains within your Quicken file and is not automatically uploaded to the cloud unless you actively choose to sync it using the Quicken Cloud feature. You can follow this link and this link for more information regarding your data and Quicken.
I hope this clears things up!
