How to download older posts from Schwab

Using Quicken Classic R59.18 on Windows 10 pc.
Several transactions failed to download the other day. I later did the deactivate routine, then downloaded again and got the latest transaction, but several older transactions did not download. When I go to "edit account", then "online services", the instruction for downloading older transactions gives you a link "Download and import transactions". That link takes you to a screen with instructions to log on to Schwab and download a "Quicken Web Connect file". The problem is that Schwab doesn't have an option to download a Quicken file. They only offer CSV, JSON, or XML files. Unless I'm missing something, Quicken instructions are just wrong. Short of entering transactions manually, is there some way around this flaw in Quicken?

I think either restoring a backup just before "the other day" and trying again, or entering the missing transactions manually are probably the only two ways to go here. The information in the fidir.txt file is slightly confusing:

The first entry, which includes "BANKING", lists only EWB+ as the downloading method. The second entry - limited to Schwab Bank - does appear to use Web Connect, but I don't think that's really the case, at least not anymore.
In the early days of Schwab you had to sign into Schwab Bank and into Schwab Brokerage separately, as two distinctly different entities. They fixed that a long time ago so now signing into Schwab gets you into both sides of the house. Maybe in the past you could use the Web Connect download process for the Bank, but it's not available now, and the fidir.txt has never been properly updated?
