Problem with updating version from v.56.9

Have had ongoing problems with:1. Downloads from Schwab (since Dec of 2023) and 2. File crashing. Running v5.9 on new computer running Windows 11.

When running under v 56.9 no crashes but Downloading problems persisted When updated to v58.4 in September File crashes recurred. Advised to re-install 56.9 and crashes stopped. Advised to just stay on v56.9 . The downloading problem remains unresolved. (It can take up to 15 attempts to download before all accounts get downloaded!) But now I see that there are newer version updates and all of Quicken's advice at Quicken.com/Schwab advises that trouble shooting the download problem says to be sure to you have updated to the latest version.

When I called support and asked for escalation to 2nd Tier support re: trying again to update and what I can do if the file starts crashing again and I was simply told to just stay on v56.9. Not a very satisfactory answer!!

What would you suggest? I've used Quicken for over 20 years and don't want to have to find some other Personal Financial software but I also cannot continue to spend a full 1 1/2 days trying to get downloads from Schwab. Have spent many additional hours speaking to support over the past year.

What have you tried, so far, to address the issue? File Validation? SuperValidation?

Where on your PC is your QDATA file stored? Are you getting any error codes, or messages?

And, R56.9 is an older version of Q. Have you tried updating directly to the current R60 (or even R59)? Because your issue sounds like it's specific to you. If it were a general issue, the forum would be lit up with complaints.

Also, when you do HELP, About Quicken … what show's as your "Membership Valid thru" date?
