How make room to display more register rows?
At the bottom of the register are two display “rows”. One shows Transactions, Current Balance, Ending Balance, and the other shows Bill and Income Reminders. These occupy about 4 register lines of real estate. I don’t use either of these features. Is there a way to not show these so 4 more lines of the register can be displayed?

Nope, no way to remove them. BUT, are you using Large Fonts? They take up extra space. What screen resolution are you using? Are your registers displaying 1 row or 2?

Thanks for the response. I was hoping there was some setting I had missed somewhere.
It’s a new Win 11 laptop with a larger, higher resolution screen than my old Win 10 laptop and I’ve been having similar problems with other apps as well. I’ve lowered the resolution to approximate the old laptop resolution which has helped a little. I’m using 2-line display and have played with the three register row heights that are available. It’s a balancing act between amount of data on the screen vs whether I can actually read it. Sure would be nice if Q would let us pick actual fonts and font sizes for each of the different areas (register, account list, menus, drop down boxes, etc) like other apps do instead of just “large” or “not large”.0 -
If the Downloaded Transactions area always pops up in its open, expanded form, taking up too much space on your register view, just click the triangle to close it. You may have to repeat doing this over several Quicken sessions if Quicken doesn't remember your settings.
In its closed form, this area is about 1/2" tall on my screen. I'm sorry, but you can't totally remove it, AFAIK.
And, as stated by others, the Balance line is also not removable.0
