Quicken Deleted 5 months of Data from 2022 for Several Accounts
After re-connecting in the last few months some of my accounts (Wells Fargo, Chase, Citibank, etc.) transactions from 6 months in 2022 were deleted. Because downloads from the banks don't go back that far, I can't just perform an update to download them. I also can't even download them from the Bank website because of the age of the transactions.
I have a backup from 3/2023, which appears to be the most recent even though I'm sure I have backed up my file since then. I just hate to have to download and then reprocess 21 months of data!
Any creative solutions?

If you can't find a more recent backup, make a Windows Explorer copy of the backup you have, renaming it and and changing the extension to .QDF.
Then open the renamed file and delete everything from the account(s) that is missing the transactions EXCEPT the missing transactions. Then you can do a File→File Export→ QIF file for those account(s) which should be just the missing transactions.
This next step is very important, MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT FILE. That way if something goes awry, you have the backup to restore and at least be back to where you started.
Now, with your current file open, do a File→File Import→QIF file, importing the QIF export file from the restored old backup.
If any of the replaced transactions were transfers, you may or may not have to repair the transfer connection to get your balances back.
Best of luck, it isn't exactly easy, but it is doable and a lot quicker than rebuilding a lot of history and you won't have any typos.
