ALL transactions in one account show reconciled after One Step Update.

Quicken Classic Premier for Windows R60.15 Build 27.1.60.15
I ALWAYS use a paper statement to reconcile…been doing this with Quicken Classic for decades, so on the Reconcile panel, "Use paper statemen" is definitely checked.
However, it has happened twice now that after I do a One Step Update, in one of my accounts all of my transactions show reconciled. The first time (a few days ago) I thought perhaps I pressed an undocumented key combination, but last night it happened again, and I KNOW I did nothing to cause this.
Only happened to one checking account. Savings and brokerage accounts were fine: Quicken reconciles when downloading even though I've selected use paper statement. Anyone else experiencing this since the most recent upgrade?

Any chance the "Reconcile using online balances" box under the Online Services tab of the Account got checked?

Thanks for responding. No it is not checked there either. I'd expect that checkbox to match the Reconcile panel, where "Use paper statement" is definitely checked."

NUTS! It did it again this morning: All I did was download transactions. There were no new transactions, so nothing to click, yet all cleared transactions are flagged as reconciled, even though the Reconcile with Online Balance is NOT checked. Grrrrr
Same account as yesterday.

Perhaps it's time to try a Validate & Repair on the file? It does sound like something got unhitched in that one Account if there's a disagreement between what's actually happening in the Account vs. the way the Account is set up. Make a backup and try, it couldn't hurt.

I thought the same thing and did that this morning. We’ll see how it goes.
As of this morning my account balance and online balances match, so I checked the box to have it reconcile with the online balance, and did an update. I figured all the statuses would be changed to Reconciled, but no, they stayed Cleared. Then I unchecked the reconcile with online balance and updated again, and everything stayed cleared. So as of this morning; the setting has no effect either way. Rather, it seems to have a mind of its own.
