No online backup files available for last 3 days

Needed to restore files from backup but the latest file for me that was available was 3 days old. I access Quicken on a daily basis and it reports that an online backup file was completed shortly after I exit the program. Now I have to recreate/restore data that is 3 days old. Why? I would expect better performance for a service that I am paying for.

    Hello @johnrowe55,

    To start with, I suggest checking your Online Backup Settings to see what the frequency of how often the Online Backup is set for. To do so, please follow the instructions provided below.

    1. Navigate to Edit
    2. Preferences…
    3. Backup > Online Backup

    Make sure the checkbox for Automatic online backups is checked and the frequency is set to your desire. You can also check the Remind me… checkbox is checked if you wish to be reminded about the online backup.

    Looking at the image provided by @Quicken Anja , in addition to Online Backups there also are settings for Local Backups.

    Are those settings enabled and set to "backup after running Quicken [1] times", same as the ones for online backups?

    Your settings should be similar to the ones shown in the above image, to ensure that you always get backups, both online and local every time you close Quicken.

    As you found out, one can never have enough backup copies.
