Year to date summary

How is the year to date summary calculated ?

I am creating a new Budget for 2025

I would think that for a new planned budget with no actual entries just budget would show a YTD Summary of zero since I set up my Income and Expenses to balance to zero ?

Also the date I assume would also reflect the new year budget.
