USAA Register issue

Hi - I am new to Quicken. Just setting it up. I am on Windows 11 pro (Quicken Version R50.15/Build 27.1.60.15).

I have worked through most of my issues and everything seems okay but USAA. It seems it should be simple. Quicken connects with USAA. I have a single checking account to track but the USAA register and what is showing in Quicken are totally different to the tune of a couple of thousand dollars. Quicken has downloaded transactions going back 18 months but the discrepancy is the same. Why isn't quicken simply downloading the exact numbers that USAA are showing?

    Is the discrepancy in the balance or are the transactions themselves off? When you created your USAA account, what did you set as your opening balance?

    Thanks - when I went back and look at the first transactions Quicken relayed, I dsicovered they were all outflows so it appeared as if I started with a negative balance. Once I corrected for that, everythink synced.
