Business, Client, Attachment columns added everywhere

While I really love the business additions in the latest Quicken update, I am finding the fact that the above three columns being added everywhere quite tedious to undo.

I had to undo them in all my account views, which wasn't much work. BUT… it looks like I have to remove them from every reconcile window for each account one by one. It also looks like these were added to all split transaction windows, and I have no idea how to remove them there.

Anyone seen this? Is this expected behavior for the upgrade? It's a huge change to impose onto users and doesn't look like undoing it is simple.

Anyone know of an easier way to remove from all reconcile windows? Or how to remove from all split transaction windows?

    I agree, that this is an unpleasant surprise. I had already (tediously) removed Business/Client/Billable from some and Client/Billable from the rest of all of my registers. But, had not reconciled an account until today…or looked at splits. And, yes, I agree that including the business columns in both places is painfully annoying and hopefully will be fixed.

    Please vote on it… and/or add comments to how you think they should handle columns in the Reconciliation window.

    Maybe you can post an idea/wish for the issue with split transactions? I agree - just makes no sense if the register has Business/Client/Billable turned off that those columns appear in a split.

    Yes, this is driving me crazy, and not in a good way. These new and unwanted additional fields (client, billable, etc.) push fields that I DO need to see off the screen, and I have laboriously deleted the extra fields about a zillion times now and they still keep showing up in various places like reconciliations and splits. There ought to be a way to universally turn off fields that you have no interest in ever seeing or using. Their presence is just annoying, again and again and again.

    If this isn't fixed soon I will consider downgrading to the cheaper version of Quicken which doesn't support business fields, which will present its own challenges, but I'm super frustrated with this problem. I am sure the new fields are great for those with the sorts of businesses which can use them, but for the rest of us they are a plague which never seems to end.
