Is it possible to add a transaction in the paycheck that would not add up to the Gross pay?
Typically there is an add and a corresponding subtraction for amounts not impacting gross pay. What sort of addition are you trying to account for?
I get refund from ESPP that was deducted from an earlier paycheck .. The other example is the employer contributing to HSA and this does not get included in the Gross like the 401k match from the employer ..
For that I would just reduce the current ESPP contribution amount by the amount of the refund.
