Why do backup & data file still show old release version?

Recently updated Quicken Classic Premier for Windows to version 60.20 but backups and working data file show version 60.14. When selecting "about Quicken" from help menu, it reports version 60.20 build 27.1.60.20 as the latest running version but data file and backups still show old release.
