It seems that CC-502 error codes are occurring with a number of Citi retail branded credit cards (all are set up with EWC connections?). An Alert has been posted about this. While your particular card is not referenced in this Alert, given that your credit card is also a Citi retail branded card it is likely that it also applies to your card.:
