One of my Quicken registers displays like a chart

One of my Quicken registers displays like a chart. It has graphs, total value, top movers and value over time. It doesn't have Enter transactions, download transactions, bill and income reminders and place holder entries like the rest of my accounts. How do I fix this?

    Hello @Richard Esser,

What you describe sounds like an investment account that is connected using Simple for the Tracking Method. To check to see if this is what is happening, go to Tools>Account List. Click the Edit button next to the problem account. One the General tab, if the account is an investment account, you should see a Tracking Method section near the lower left.

If Simple is selected, change it to Complete, then click OK. Note - not all connection options support Complete tracking. If you are using a connection that does not support that tracking method, you may need to switch to a different connection option.

    I hope this helps!

that worked! Thanks for your help. It was on simple tracking. How do you suppose that it got there? I have had the account for 29 years. Thanks again

    Thank you for the follow-up,

I'm glad to hear that corrected the issue!

Have you recently had to reconnect or reset the account? If so, then it's possible it got switched to Simple tracking during that process. There is a setting in Preferences that will cause Quicken to default to Simple tracking. Please go to Edit>Preferences>Investments and make sure that setting is not selected.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out!
