Tracking BTC

Hello,
What ticker do you use to download BTC historical prices in Quicken Canada?
Looks like the tickers I find that should work for US version is not working in the Canadian version.

Hello @Mo H,
There are multiple ticker symbols for Bitcoin. Which one are you using? What exactly is occurring? Is the ticker reflecting correctly but missing history?
Let me know!

I tried the BTCS. I can find it and add it. It does not download historical prices.

@Quicken Jasmine there seems to be something odd going on with "Download Historical Prices". I've been experiencing odd behaviour with that function for a while now. If we use this security discussed here as an example, I can add the security from the security lookup list, I can create it like @Mo H has shown above, but when I click on "Download Historical Prices", this security is missing from the list. That is, there is no option to download historical prices for this security; however, Quicken does offer to download historical prices for some (but not all) of my GICs. It is anything but obvious what is causing only select securities to populate into the list of securities for which there is the option to download historical prices.
I would like to get to the bottom of this issue!

Thank you for sharing! Would you mind sending over a problem report and logs @Mo H and @Arctic Hare ? You can also add any troubleshooting steps that you have taken as a response in this thread and please also include direct steps to reproduce this issue!
Thanks!

Problem report has been submitted.
See screenshot below for configuration:
The screenshot below shows that this security is not listed as being available for historical prices, but apparently GICs are (not true):
Not sure what steps could be taken to troubleshoot. It should simply work and it doesn't.
Direct steps to replicate are simply to add a new security, look up BCTS and add it. It is that simple… but, no prices download. If this was a manually added security then there is room for error in the configuration, but it is not a manually added security; it can be added via the lookup security function!
