2025 Reports not working

Using Quicken R60.20 Build 27.1.60.20 on a PC running Windows 10 Pro V22H2 Build 19045.5371.
I created a new reports folder named 2025. I opened a 2024 report showing transactions by category. I changed the report dates from 2024 to 2025 and changed the title to a 2025 name. I clicked "save report", changed the report name, and saved it in the 2025 report folder.
When I go to Reports, My Saved Reports & Graphs, select the 2025 folder and click on the report I created, instead it opens a completely different report. However, if I go to Reports, Reports & Graph Center, select the 2025 folder and click on the report I created, it opens the correct report.
This exact same problem occurred back in 2023 and there are several posts about it, but no solution. Some time in 2023 Quicken corrected the problem and in 2024 I could create reports in the same manner with no problems. Now the problem has reoccurred.

First off, you're not actually saving a "report". You're saving the TEMPLATE of a report. So your elaborate "annual folders" are just duplicating the templates.
SO, I'd just go with the basic canned report. When I opened the basic, canned "Itemized Categories" report just now, it defaulted to current YTD. And it's so simple to change to other time periods that I see little to no benefit in your method.
NOW, having said that, if you're actually producing the report and saving it as, say, a PDF, then you're not doing yourself a lot of favor either. Because such can only be seen from within Q. IF you're saving the produced PDFs outside of Q, then there's a benefit.

There is a great deal of benefit in my method, because it's not just dates that I change. I have various reports set up for differing categories, tags, accounts, etc. To have to go to "Customize Reports" and change a bunch of variables every time I run the report is ridiculous. My method is not the problem. There is a programming error in Quicken that causes the report problem. They fixed it previously. They should fix it again.
