I added wells fargo manually but I dont see the "import transactions from bank website option" in the settings. Did I set up wrong? I just added Amex and it works fine.

It does appear that they changed the website and, like happens so often when a business does that, it automatically forwarded to this URL: https://connect.secure.wellsfargo.com/auth/login/present?loginMode=jukePassword&serviceType=fms. But the new website looks the same as it has for many years and my security software shows that it is a real and safe WF website. I also noted that there are certain elements that are common in each of the URLs, such as "fms" and "wellsfargo.com". Here is the website I see and it looks legit. Is this what you saw?

Did you try entering their UserID and PW on that website? If so, did it not work as it should to authorize downloading via DC?

Or, if you don't want to enter their UserID and PW in this website, then I think your only other option to get their account set up for downloading with WF is to not do the advanced options and instead let Quicken take you through the process to set up an EWC+ connection.

Are you wanting to manually download and import from your online WF account? That is called the Web Connect (WC) connection method.

Or are you wanting to set up Quicken to connect with WF and download the transactions for you? There are 2 different connection methods for this. One is called the Express Web Connect+ (EWC+) method and the other is called the Direct Connect (DC) method.

WF does not support the Express Web Connect (EWC) connection method.

Perhaps you will find this Support Article helptul: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-quicken-connects-your-bank/. . This article provides links to instructions for how to set up each of the connection methods.

Does this help resolve the issue for you? If not, please provide more details about how you are wanting to download.

I am trying to setup a Quicken account for my parents. I already use WF as a bank and have been using DC for years. I went in yesterday to Quicken, created new account and tried to add Wells Fargo (from popular institutions choice selection), click on advanced options, select DC, enter their user name and password. I get an error that says "user has entered an invalid user id or password. If registering for the first time, please login to a wellsfargo.com/fmssetup to start to register. That site doesn't exist and takes me to another WF sign on screen. really odd
