RSU grant scheduling broken when includes February

[windows, version R60.20; build 27.1.60.20]
RSU grant, 5/30/23, N shares, rounding to the nearest share, set to vest over 48 months, first 6.25% 8/30/23, then every 3 months. Should result in ~equal shares for the 16 events (1/16=0.0625). Seems to not like that February is involved. Creates 17 events with the last two a couple days apart. Same input, but using 6/30/23 and initial vest 9/30/23 works as expected.

Same thing when a grant started on leap day 2/29/24. so maybe spanning across a leap month has something to do with it or Feb only having '28' days.

REALLY WOULD like to get a pop up windows on "here's the schedule we calculated" before committing (since apparently you can't undo or adjust the "macro" like entry generation). I've had to hunt and delete many items one at a time because there's no checks.
EVEN BETTER would be a dialog that would allow editing since the schedule sometimes oddly tick tocks between share counts each time.

That is interesting. I wonder if recording it on the 28th would resolve the problem.
