Memorized Payment mixed categories
I've used "Memorize Payee" to record paycheck and all the different places they send my money. I have another one for my vacation rental that sorts all the places they spend my money.
The are many categories and memos. 10-15 lines each. Quicken keeps mixing up the categories and memos. For example, the line for medical shows the memo for 401k contribution and the amount for the 401k. This forces me to spend a lot of extra time re-catagorizing and sorting everything. The memorized transaction feature is useless with this error.
This is a known issue. There was a post in 2021, and 2022 and 2023. I've tried memorizing the transaction in the correct order many times, but, always, the next time I use it the following month, it's out of order again.
I'm using a PC running Windows 11. With Quicken Classic
Will this ever be fixed?
