Effect of Adding Shares on ROI% Calculation

I completed a Roth Conversion from my IRA using the Transfer Shares transaction type (Add Shares/Remove Shares). On the Add Shares side (Roth Account) I used 11/01/2024 as the "Date Added To Account" and 6/01/2022 as the "Date Acquired." In the Portfolio Value View (Roth Account) everything was fine (transfer of specific lots, cost basis, gain/loss%). However, in the Performance View, the ROI% was significantly less than it should have been. I then changed the "Date Added To Account" to the same date as the "Date Acquired" and the ROI% calculated correctly. It appears that Quicken did not use the "Date Acquired" date on the original transfer when calculating the ROI%. How does Quicken actually calculate the ROI% when adding shares in-kind during a transaction like mine?
