How to change credit card number on existing account with new card number

I'm using Windows Quicken Classic if this makes a difference. My USAA credit card was hacked and I had USAA block the card number. USAA sent me a replacement USAA credit card with a new card number. How do I change the credit card number in Quicken so the account still shows all my old USAA card data along with new charges I make on the replacement USAA card?

Hello @George Guild,
Thank you for reaching out! Before attempting any troubleshooting, please ensure you save a backup of your data file as a precaution.
Switching the card in Quicken is a straightforward process. You’ll need to deactivate and then reactivate the account associated with this card.
To do so, please follow the Deactivate steps found in this support article. Once deactivated, to reactivate, navigate to Tools > Add Account..., search for your Financial Institution name, and follow the prompts to connect.
Once your account(s) have been found, be sure to link them to the existing account(s) you have already set up in Quicken. Since it’s the same account and only the card number has changed, this process should update transactions from where you last left off.
Hope this helps!
