I just received an email offering online backup at $0.98 per month billed annually. Click on the link and it's $1.99. Not the same thing at all.

As noted in this support article: Quicken Online Backup is billed annually at $1.99 with your subscription.

However, since the email you received offers a different price, I recommend contacting Quicken Support directly. They can review the email and have the tools necessary to honor the discounted price if applicable.
