Exactly how do you do that "manual download"? Is it Web Connect (where you originate the download at the website)? OR, do you originate it within Q using One Step Update?
Also, is that old account still connected for download? Is it still open at the bank? Open in Q?
Because it sounds like you need to to TOOLS, Account List, click EDIT adjacent to the old account, click ONLINE Services and Deactivate. Then go back to the account list, click EDIT adjacent to the proper account and Activate it.
Naturally, do a backup before any of that … just in case.

I do manual download. In my financial institution i click on download transactions from the account i want to update, which downloads them as QFX. file, then i do import from Quicken for the QFX file. I keep my accounts in separate years such as 2024 checking, 2023 checking etc… for this year i opened a new account, 2025 checking but i can't seem to be able to get the import to go to this account as it goes back to 2024 checking etc… When i do import QFX file, it send data to the 2024 checking. I keep old accounts open for reporting purposes.

Problem solved. I did as you suggested and deactivated the online service for the old account. Then I did a download and was prompted to select which account data should go to. This allowed me to bring the data to the new year account. Thanx for the help.
