I'm not aware of any problems specific to yesterday, 1/27/25.
How long did you wait before considering OSU stalled and started "to push the Kill button"?
Usually, you may want to wait at least 30 minutes. It's quite possible that a data packet got lost en route, causing the process to stall. I've had that happen to me once a long time ago and Quicken recovered after 30 minutes with an error message, making Kill not necessary.
If you did have to kill Quicken, you may want to wait a few hours before you try again. Whatever error caused the stall may have been resolved by then.

Thanks for the tip. I probably waited 10 minutes but not 30.
It of course suddenly magically started working again this am but then I had to reconnect all of my accounts to one step update. Took awhile.
    Thanks for the tip.

I am having the same issues - linkage to morgan stanley, charles schwab and amex are all just stuck in waiting and accounts and passwords are all up to date - been spining for 3 days!

I'm having the same problem - I uninstalled Quicken and re-installed. That did not work. So I disabled my credit card and set it up again. The computer said it was downloading my transactions - but then I checked and it did not.

I was having the same problem. After reading these posts, I decided to wait longer, even though it seemed to be frozen. Finally it worked. Thanks to everyone

I had OSU working for four different CItibank accounts, for about a month. CHecking, Savings, and 2 CC accounts. I was very happy, 😁 since my alternative had been multi-step manual downloads for each of these accounts. 😕 Today, 2/1, I ran the OSU again. Several times. No new transactions in any of these accounts. 🤔 If I go to the Citi website, there are definitely new transactions since my last OSU update, which was 01/23.

So what gives? I know that OSU has been a long-running issue, and in the past I have tried to set up OSU without any real success. A Citi issue (which would surprise me not at all?) A quicken issue? Ver B71.9 (although I am considering dropping out of the beta program.)

Been using Quicken (and TurboTax) since DOS days in 1990s. Now using Quicken subscription on Windows.
