Missing credit card transactions (Windows)

I just noticed that at least one (possibly more) of my bank credit card transactions is missing from prior downloads. It's a recent transaction from 1/1/25 (less than 30 days ago). This has happened to me at other random times in the past couple of years. It's so timeconsuming to go through my monthly bills to figure out which transactions are missing. LAst time it was about 10 missing transactions. I've gone though all the suggestions on line to make sure everything else is in order.
Quicken…what's going on? This problem is not good! How does it get solved once and for all? Thanks.

I apologize that you have been experiencing this issue on and off throughout the years.
If you don't mind, could you please provide the name of the bank you are experiencing this with?
Also, please tell us where your data file is located on your computer. Do you have it stored in a folder located on your local hard drive (C: Drive), or in a cloud-based/external drive (OneDrive, DropBox, USB, etc.)?

If I might add, …
A few examples of missing transactions would also be helpful.
Are these recurring transactions, same payee, perhaps even same amount? Or credit card payment transactions (transfers from checking)?When downloading, are you automatically accepting downloaded transactions into your account registers? Or are you reviewing each transaction individually for proper matching to already existing register transactions or to create new register transactions?

My credit card account is with Citibank citi.com Data file is located on C: Dirve specifically it's in the folder location ~/documents/quicken
I have not done an audit of all the missing transactions yet, but in the past it was a random selection and typically it was all transactions between two dates. None were specifically recurring, the same amount or transfers. When I download transactions I always review them to confirm correct category.

How frequently do you run One Step Update? Daily, weekly, once or twice a month, less frequently than once every month?
Or do you use another method to download transactions from the banks, e.g., download a QFX file from the bank's website?0 -
I run the One Step Update on an irregular basis….but it's probably 2 to 4 times a month.

I am running One Step Update regularly, a couple of times per week. I see multiple transactions are missing, starting approximately this Monday (Jan 27). I have not checked all accounts, but I see missing transactions for Discover, Chase, Barclays, PNC, Wells Fargo, Citi.
For example, got a couple of transactions today for Chase. For the rest of the week all transactions are missing. However, Online Balance (at the bottom of the registry) shows correct value. It means, I believe, zero transactions are processed after download.
Account reset has no effect. The only result of reset - update (corruption) of the first transaction, Opening Balance, with online balance or similar.

Same for me. Last time i started quicken and ran one-step update succesfully was Jan 8th.
I started up today, tried to update a single amex account and quicken crashed. I restarted it to do a full one-step update and it didn't download any new transactions from today back to last time (jan 8th).
So i restored a backup file from Jan8th, started quicken and ran one-step update and it appeared to check all accounts, but I don't have any new transactions to review — effectively no new transaction data across all checking and credit accounts. This is on accounts with auto-accept and without auto-accept.
I did notice that one time running One-Step Update, if I clear "Show just the last update" on the One Step Update Summary, there is red-text:
- You need to select accounts to export.
But I don't know if this is new because I usually have "Show just the last update" checked on the One Step Update Summary page.
My software is Quicken Classic Business & Personal. I have all Web & Mobile sync OFF.
