OL-301-A Chevron Federal Credit Union

Question

This morning, I am getting  "OL-301-A" from Chevron Federal Credit Union when trying to perform a OSU.  Further info is "your FI has rejected your request; Caught Excpetion in invoke () java.lan.NullPointerException.

I don't see this as an issue with anyone else.  Just checking if others are getting similar response?

Am using Windows Quicken (for business / rental).  Subscription version, most recent version that the system has downloaded.

thank you for the response and advice.  I actually waited until later tonight and tried again and the OSU functioned.    I've found that a lot of times, patience works well with Quicken and connecting to the myriad of FI's,  just wait a day or a few days and many things fix themselves!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community to let us know about this issue!  To start troubleshooting this problem, I recommend following these steps from our article on OL-301 errors:

You will need to refresh branding and profile settings. If you haven't upgraded from a recently discontinued version of Quicken, continue to the section below.

* In Quicken, select the Tools menu, then choose Online Center.
* Click the Financial Institution dropdown arrow and select the financial institution.
* Press CTRL+Shift while selecting Contact Info.

* Select one of the accounts associated with the bank from the dropdown list
* Select Financial Institution Branding and Profile from the list and click Refresh.

* Click OK and go online by clicking the Update/Send button.
* Attempt your online session again.

If this error occurs when trying to send an online payment

If you're able to update your accounts without an error, but you're unable to send a payment through your bank Bill Pay via Direct Connect, make sure the payment date is allowing enough time for the payment to be sent. If that doesn't resolve the issue, you'll need to contact your bank to make sure you're properly enrolled in their bill pay service.

To find the contact information for your bank, open Quicken and go to Tools > Online Center and click Contact Info at the top of the window after selecting your bank's name.
