Income by Security Report is incorrect????

Quicken Windows Subscription Member

I am looking under the Investment tab —> Reports —> Income by Security. The Unrealized Gains are way off - see example above - Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF shows Unrealized Gains of -$29,286 in the report, yet actual Unrealized Gains are correct under the actual Security listing.

Why is this report so far off - it is happening on just about all investment.

Thank you.

SCHD split 3:1 on 10/11/2024. I suspect the split is recorded incorrectly due to incorrect downloaded transactions.

Please look in your Transaction list around that date and let us know what transactions are there for SCHD. There should be one StkSplt and no Added transactions.

Several other Schwab ETFs split at the same time, see this press release

    Transactions are:

    Original Buy - 12/5/2022 200 shares $15,696.00

    Split: Sell - 10/11/2024 200 shares $15,696.00

    Buy - 10/11/2024 600 shares $15,696.00

How should the split be shown?

Back up your data file in case something goes wrong, then:

Delete the Sell and Buy on 10/11/24

Click on Enter Transactions then select Stock split

Select 10/11/24 as the date, SCHD as the security, and enter 200 for old shares and 600 for new shares, and the correct post-split price

On the Security Detail page for SCHD, click on More then Edit price history. Make sure the prices show the pre-split price through 10/10/24 and the correct post-split price starting on 10/11/24.
