Can you name one bug/feature that is purely Canadian?

Over in the Quicken Mac threads (which include a "Canadian" version) I notice a few people upset by the fact that the business features that they introduced don't have any real Canadian features like having the invoice currency show in CND instead of USD, and it got me wondering.

What was the late time I saw a bug/feature reported in the Quicken Windows Canadian release notes that wasn't really just a fix for the US version that got pushed on to the Canadian version eventually.

I can't think of any. Anyone else that can?

IMHO… Most of the "Canadian" features are merely changing terminology to the Canadian terminology, e.g. RRSP account is a renamed 401K account. I can think of few/minor examples where there is an actual functionality difference. Even the features related to tax forms are really just remapping to different forms and lines.

There isn't per se anything wrong with this approach. Actually, I think it reflects the fact that the requirements for the two countries are very similar - most of the differences are terminology (again - 401K vs RRSP).

My greatest dissatisfactions with the Canadian aspects of the Canadian version are the following:

    1. There is no support for EWC+ and Direct Connect in the Canadian version. Canadians are limited to downloading transactions using poorly functioning EWC and inconvenient WC.
    2. Bugs in the Canadian version get fixed more slowly than in the USA version.
    3. Download of historical security prices is limited to securities that trade on US exchanges.

Actually, was sort of thinking of "new features/bugs", not ones that were done in the distant past.

On #2 that can be a blessing or a curse. You also get the benefit of not having the bugs introduced more frequently.
