Changing Category Types -- Quicken Deluxe 2009

Hello, all. First, a disclaimer. I did search for answers, but found help only for Mac users. I hope someone can help with my ancient Quicken version. And, I'm sure I chose an incorrect category for my question, but it seemed the closes to my situation.

I use Quicken Deluxe 2009 on Windows. At this exact moment, I'm pretty sure I'm using Windows 10, version 22H2. I use Quicken as a manual checkbook and love to be able to categorize for tax purposes. I download nothing to my Quicken. I don't update Quicken. I don't upload anything from Quicken. Everything is a manual entry.

This past calendar year we had rental income and expenses (a new experience for us). I was pretty good at naming and using categories. When running reports for our 2024 return, I have just now paid attention to types of transactions and want to make changes for 2025 transactions.

I've attached a screenshot for clarity (I hope). For example, see the subcategory "Capital Bathroom" under the Rentals category. Type shows Personal Expense. I am successful in putting this into a new Group, it will not change the type from Personal Expense to Rental Expense.

I can do this using a long round-about way. Linking the expense to a Schedule E line item changes the type, but was hoping to tick several of the subcategories and change the type to each in one fell swoop. Is it possible?

I appreciate any help any of you are willing to give me.
