How to handle Vanguard Cash+ Account in Quicken

I have the same issue as everyone else here. Vanguard's response was to tell me to call Quicken. I worked with Quicken for a couple of hours, but no resolution. Quicken treates the account as an investment account rather than a cash account and there doesn't seem to be a fix at Quicken. All I can add is that my bank (where I have the Vanguard Account linked) shows the Cash+ account correctly.

    Hello @RobtDaniels,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

First, I suggest creating a test file and attempting to add the Vanguard Cash+ account to see if the same issue occurs with the $0 balance. This will confirm whether or not this issue is on the financial institution's side or Quicken's. To create a test file, navigate to File > New Quicken File… Please make sure to unlink your Vanguard account(s) from your main file before proceeding. It is also recommended to save a backup (just in case).

Let me know how it goes!

It won't help; Vanguard is sending non-compliant qfx files to Quicken.
