Since many payments are made on line now, why not include a column permitting the recording of that activity? For example, in the Quicken Transaction registry, modify the "check"column, which now only allows "next check number" or "print", and permit a toggle to say ACH DEBIT or some other indication of an on line payment?

FYI, you can type anything you want in the check number column, it’s not restricted to numbers. Adding an option to the dropdown would be a convenience.

There is also the "Action" field which doesn't have any real functionality but gives you another place to add identifying labels to transactions. Cluck the Columns icon to add the Action column to any register you wish. Go to Window > Actions to define the action labels you want to use on your transactions.
