Fixing Error Code 800

Quicken Windows Other Member

Since early February, I have been unable to update my financial information. Quicken returns a error code 800 for all of my banking and credit cards accounts. Tired deactivating and reactivating the accounts. Also tried resetting the accounts. I have tried these actions several times and it is still not working. Any additional recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks!

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

First, which financial institution are you experiencing this issue with?

I am having issues with Bank of America, Citibank, Chase, Schwab, Capital One, and others.

    Hello @AXA_USER,

    Thanks for providing more information.

To me, this sounds as though there may be an issue within your data file since this issue is occurring across multiple financial institutions. My first thought is to sign out and then back into your data file to give your file/accounts a small refresh. You can follow the instructions below, it is recommended to save a backup (just in case).

    1. Navigate to Edit
    2. Preferences...
    3. Quicken ID & Cloud accounts
    4. Click Sign in as a different user (or it might say Sign in using a different Quicken ID)
    5. Follow the prompts to Sign Out
    6. Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you for the response. However, I do not have any Cloud accounts. I am having the same problem on three different computers. It is not likely that all files on three different computers would become corrupted at the same time.

Everyone has a cloud account for each data file whether you use mobile/web or not. It is likely that using different files interchangeably on different computers will corrupt the files. CC-800 is a classic error for that use case.

Are you using the same file on each device? Also, you can see your cloud accounts using the instructions in my previous response (see below).

    1. Navigate to Edit
    2. Preferences...
    3. Quicken ID & Cloud accounts
