Did Quicken change the One Step Update process?

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭✭✭

My OSU process uses 2 factor authentication for 2 FI's. Today when I ran an OSU the normal 2 factor authentication process wasn't needed and Quicken OSU just completed without any 2 factor codes I normally have to enter during the OSU process. The transactions were all there and correct. The OSU, however, did take longer to complete than normal.

Windows 11 (2 separate computers)..... Quicken Premier.. HAVE USED QUICKEN CONTINUOUSLY SINCE 1985.

    Hello @retird,

    Thanks for reaching out!

To my knowledge, we have not made any changes to One Step Update. Additionally, two-factor authentication (2FA) requirements are determined by the financial institution. It’s possible that the financial institutions in question have removed this requirement when connecting from Quicken, but only they can confirm this.

As for the One Step Update running slower than normal, let us know if this was a one-off occurrence or if this repeats/persists.

    Thank you!
