Quicken MAC - How to mass bulk update, (find replace and edit) split transactions

I saw a response for this on the Windows side, can it be done on the Mac side?

Hello @Paul1,
Thanks for reaching out with this question!
Unfortunately, there is not a find and replace function available within Quicken for Mac at this time, however, there is an idea thread that was created by another user regarding this feature. You can follow this link to access that idea where I suggest you add your vote!
As far as bulk editing/updating transactions, this feature is available, however, this will not pertain to split transactions, as stated within the bulk edit box (see below). I have located another idea thread regarding the bulk editing options including split transactions within Quicken for Mac. You can follow this link to add your vote.
I hope this clears things up!

YES, I've changed my way of keeping my files and want to change a mass of transactions under one category to a new name. This should be an easy fix. For example, I'm lumping groceries with restaurant meals other expenses under "food" Why can't I change all transactions in each category "groceries" and "restaurants" and "meals" to "food?"

@Simershein If you want to change ALL of the transactions using those categories then you can do it by merging the “groceries”, “restaurants”, and “meals” categories with the “food” category. You can do that on the Categories window.
