non-Vanguard accounts are disconnected in Quicken

This past week we separated a joint account at Schwab into two accounts. Today I manually transferred shares into the two accounts to preserve cost basis.

When I went to download all of my accounts I couldn't connect to Vanguard (same error code as others).

However my non-Vanguard accounts are now "disconnected". Each of the disconnected accounts has a circle with a diagonal line inside the circle. And when I try to connect to one of them, I receive a CC-501 error code. I haven't attempted to connect to Schwab because if there are any glitches I don't want to create an issue with my Schwab accounts.

Are there system-wide issues with Quicken's download servers?

    Hello @Pacoinconn,

    Thank you for sharing your experience. Are you seeing the CC-501 error only with Schwab? If you're seeing this happening with other financial institutions, which ones are they?

    Per this article on CC-501 errors, the initial troubleshooting is to wait 24 hours and try again.

    I look forward to your reply!

    @Quicken Kristina,

    No. I'm also seeing it for a Chase credit card and Ally bank.

    The last time I used Quicken on Feb 19th, everything was working fine.

    No change other than creating the two accounts in Quicken for Schwab and transferring the shares. I created the accounts as offline accounts so that I can more efficiently identify "matched" transactions after I activated those accounts.

    Closed Quicken, did some other things, reopened Quicken and I encountered the situation described above. In essence, all of my non-Vanguard accounts are affected (1 Chase, 1 Ally, and all Schwab accounts).

    Thank you for your reply,

    Thank you for clarifying that you're seeing the CC-501 error with multiple financial institutions.

    If you are still seeing this issue 24+ hours after you initially reported it, please navigate to Help>Report a Problem and send a problem report with log files attached, then post to this discussion to let me know the issue is persisting.

    Thank you!

    @Quicken Kristina,

    Thx the issue still persists and have sent in the report as you've suggested above.

    I tried one-step update to see if the one account (E-trade) that doesn't have the issue (I was wrong above…had forgotten about that account) would download transactions. Unfortunately I now have error codes for all the accounts (but no circle w/diagonal line for Etrade). Here are the messages:

    I also tried to restore a backup from Feb 17th (two days before the last "good" file from Feb 19th). That also was restored with the same circles with diagonals for the same accounts (except Etrade).

    I'm at a loss because I've restored from backups in the past (30+ year user) without any issues.

    Interestingly the Online Services tab for each of the accounts shows that services are active. Vanguard and Etrade use Direct Connect and Chase and Schwab use Express Web Connect+. Therefore I'm afraid of deactivating/activating and then ending up with hundreds of duplicate transactions to reject.

    I'll try to call Support on Wednesday unless you have suggestions, which I would appreciate. Thanks.
