SWVXX does not appear in Quicken

i download transactions and view holdings in my Schwab IRA account on routine basis. Unfortunately the amount of cash parked in SWVXX does not appear in my Quicken Premier (Win 10) account. Is there some way to make sure that it appears? Perhaps I'm not classifying this security correctly?
Looking forward to a prompt reply,
Cheers,

SWVXX is a TRADED money market fund and should be, in my opinion, shown as a type of security. However, Quicken does allow it to simply be shown as "cash" along with any REAL cash in the Account, OR as a security.
It's not clear if that pseudo-cash is being included in the real cash in your Account and your desire is to actually show it as a security, or if it's not showing at all.
If the SWVXX is being lumped into "cash" and your desire is to break it out as a security, then I think the way to do that is to disconnect the Account from downloading, make sure over at Schwab that the Account is not set up for downloading, then starting with Quicken re-connect it again. As part of this process you should be asked how you want SWVXX to be represented in the Account.

Thanks Tom:
Just to be sure I've edited SWVXX correctly in the "security list" I should designate this security as follows:
Type: "Mutual Fund"
Asset Class: (not sure what to chose here?)
then disconnect from Schwab and re-connect. Is that correct?
Cheers,
Andy

The Asset Class has no impact here. It's just an "earmark" that you can select for sorting your securities into various classes like Large Cap, Small Cap, etc. Personally I use the Asset Class of "Cash" because a MMF is pretty darn close to cash and Schwab does lump SWVXX into the Cash section if you look at your Positions page online for the account.
Before trying what I've suggested (make a backup first, in any case) you might try clicking on the "Update cash balance…" button and see if the "Cash Representation" buttons up on that window, and if it does you might be able to fix the situation that way. Quicken has never been very clear about how or why or when that button actually shows up. It may be before the first download as that button doesn't show up for me in my Schwab Accounts.
In the one or two times where I've had to reauthorize downloads from Schwab (the EWC+ method uses a "token" to log into financial institutions and those tokens expire after a time, requiring the reauthorization process) that's where I've seen the ability to select how MMF's will be represented, as cash or security. You might have to go to Schwab's web site and click Profile > Security Settings > Linked Apps and Websites and de-select that account to make this work.
