Invoicing and Receiving payments with the new Classic Business & Personal for Mac

Hi!

I have Quicken Classic for Mac for my personal finances and use Quickbooks for my sole proprietorship (U.S. based).

In QuickBooks, I send clients their invoices and they can pay through the QBO payment portal with a credit card. I receive payments from customers in the U.S. and China (as well as a few other countries). I am not sure if in China they use credit cards, a payment app, or their bank.

I am glad to see that the new Classic Business & Personal for Mac has invoicing. I have two questions:

  1. Does the Biz Mac version have a payment portal? (I can't find info in the limited info on the sale website, here in the forums, or the "Confluence" page.)
  2. If there is a payment portal, can payments be sent by clients in China?

Thanks so much to anyone who has knowledge on this!

It does not have a payment portal, and its invoicing functions, payments, receivables and reporting are quite inferior to what you have with QuickBooks. You can manually do much of what you do now, but it would take you a significant amount of time to do what QB does for you automatically. If you only have one or two invoices per month, then maybe it would be worth switching to eliminate the high cost of QB…
