OSU Hangs AGAIN

ONCE AGAIN OSU ran for 45 minutes and I had to Kill The Quicken Task. Still hoping a fix can be added to end OSU and not have to kill Quicken.

Hello @Greg Brown,
Thank you for letting us know you encountered this issue again. To clarify, is this an ongoing issue, or more of an intermittent problem? If it's intermittent, is there any pattern to when it happens? What is the location of your Quicken file? You can check this when your Quicken program is open by navigating to File and looking just above the Exit option. The 4 Quicken files you've most recently opened will be displayed, with the one you're currently in at the #1 spot.
When I check our internal tools, I can see aggregation events from today. Did your accounts successfully update? If they did, was this a result of running One Step Update again after you killed the program from Task Manager, or was the information there when you re-opened Quicken?
On the positive side, I can see that the Idea request for having a better way to terminate the One Step Update process, when it gets frozen, is in Planned status. Unfortunately, out teams do not provide ETAs, so we do not have a timeline for when this will be implemented. If you aren't already doing so, I recommend bookmarking the Idea thread (linked below), since updates, once available, will be posted there.
I look forward to your reply!

It is intermittent, haven't seen it for awhile. When I restarted, the only accounts that had any downloaded data and current "Last Downloaded" dates/times were the direct-connect accounts. I ran OSU after restarting and it ran quickly. It Downloaded the data for non-direct connect accounts and updated the "Last Downloaded" Dates/Times. I did bookmark the link you suggested, thanks.

Thank you for your reply,
Are there any processes on your device that may be intermittently accessing the Quicken file while it's in use (which could cause One Step Update to freeze), such as a virus scan or a sync with a cloud service? If there are, please try pausing them when you're using Quicken, and test to see if that resolves the issue.
Thank you!

Once again OSU ran for 40 minutes and I had to kill Quicken. This has become more prevalent since the last release update.
I am attaching the Windows event log, and the Data_log from the file repair I ran after bringing Quicken back up.

Thank you for your reply,
When I review the event log you included, I can see that it reported Quicken was using a lot of resources, then became unresponsive. The data log shows that Quicken found and corrected some problems, and it did find a data integrity issue (two transactions linked to account(s) that no longer exist). It's unclear whether the issues it found were the cause of the freeze or were a result of having to kill the program after it froze.
I did notice the file location in the Data Log indicates you have your file on Cloud-Drive. If that drive has any sort of sync function, or if it allows other users to access your Quicken file while the file is open, please make sure that functionality is paused while your Quicken file is open. Another process or user trying to access your Quicken file while it's in use could be the cause of the intermittent issue with One Step Update freezing.
Thank you!

the two transactions that are linked to accounts that no longer exist have been that way for a long time. The file is on a cloud drive but the sync function is always paused before opening Quicken. The only other issue I can think of,is that I had a PenFed credit card that had been closed but was still activated. I have since deactivated the functionality.

Thank you for the follow-up,
Has the issue reoccurred since you deactivated the closed account?
Thank you!

Too soon to tell. I will update if/when the hang recurs.
