Bask Bank - Cannot add New CD account established on 2/19/25

On 2/19/25 I created a new CD account and funded it from my online savings account. When I disconnect my connection and reconnect, when I try to add account, or when I reset the Bask connection, I do not get to add the CD account. The withdrawal from the online saving account did download OK.

It's the bank, not you or Q, that decides what account types are eligible for download … and it sounds like Bask chose to not allow download from CDs.

Since there's presumably only 1 transaction a month (other than the initial purchase and final redemption) of the CD) and the value shouldn't fluctuate (other than the monthly interest), this really shouldn't be much of a hardship.

Last year I had a CD and it was added when I did a reset. NP. But I'll try to contact Bask Bank to see if they know about it.

Elaborate upon that "reset". What exactly did you do?

I reset my connection to bask and it came up with the savings account but did not identify the CD account.

I sent a message to Bask asking if they would download the CD account, but I don't expect an answer until next week

what do you know. I just did a download and the CD account showed up automatically. I don't know if it was because I sent a support request to Bask or they only setup downloads for new accounts at the end of the month. Anyway the initial funding transaction was recorded along with a wee bit of interest. This issue can be closed.
