Charles Schwab 401(k) Mutual Fund Prices stopped updating

Anyone else having an issue with mutual fund prices not being updated? For me they stopped around 2/14. I have 2 separate Schwab accounts and the issue is occurring on both. If I download a QFX file directly from the Schwab website, import it into Quicken as a new account, the prices on my existing account mutual funds will update.

    Hello @roo77777,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community with this issue. When a holding isn't updating properly, the first thing to check is the symbol. If the symbol has changed recently or isn't correct, that would cause Quicken to be unable to update it. You can verify the information for the holding by navigating in your Quicken program to Window>Securities.

That will pull up the Securities window.

If the holdings are reflecting correctly, the next thing to check is to make sure that Quicken sees that it is a holding you currently own or have on your watchlist (this will be on the right hand side of the Securities window).

Thanks, this is 6 different securities that are having the same issue. It's not due to a symbol or name change. I did verify in the securities window that there is a green check mark under currently held for all 6.

    Thank you for your reply,

Do you have your securities set to automatically update quotes, or update on demand? See this article for more information:

If you haven't already done so, please try manually telling Quicken to update your quotes. you can do this by going to any portfolio view and clicking the semi-circle arrow  button above your transaction list.

Yes I already had my securities set to update every 60 minutes. Clicking on the semi-circle in portfolio view does nothing.

I do have several E*trade accounts with ETFs and stocks that are updating without issue

Not sure if the connection type has anything to do with it.

    Thank you for your reply,

I tested in my Quicken, to see if I could replicate the issue, but had no problem updating quotes for those funds.

To test for a file-specific problem, please backup your Quicken file, deactivate the problem accounts, then add them as new accounts by going to Tools>Add Account, following the prompts, and making sure to add rather than link to the existing.

    Add as New.png

Once they are added as new accounts, monitor to see if the issue persists.

Please let me know how it goes!
