Why my Quick Fill rules do not apply the tags I designated

I have been using Quick Fill rules extensively for a long time , they work great. However, I’m finding that in the case I want the rule to apply one or multiple tags that does not seem to work. I found interesting edge cases when the tagging actually seems to “kick-in” (for example if a transaction happens to be a refund instead a redular a charge) but in most cases the tags does not get applied. (Even when the rest of the category selection happens just fine). Any ideas ?

Hmm. . . I use tags (single/multiple) and have never noticed an issue with QF rules not picking them up/reusing them.
For starters, are you QF rules recording such tags ("All Fields") for recorded transx? This is an inline transx preference and also in settings:
I would also look in your list of QF rules (Payees & Rules) to see if the Tags are included for said rule. You can add a Tag to the rule there as well. You have to determine if the Tags are not being saved to QF (my guess) or not being applied to new transx (less likely)
You will see the tags showing with the QF rules when you enter a new payee
