Bottom Section of Investing Accounts Always Expanded

I ran across another thread about this, but it's closed:

I've got the same problem: In all my investment account registers under two completely separate Quicken files, the bottom section of the register (the thing that shows us Downloaded Transactions, Bill and Income Reminders and Placeholder Entries) is always expanded when I enter the registers upon restarting Quicken. Every time I start up Quicken and visit an investment register, that empty section is expanded and takes up half the screen. I'm positive it didn't used to do that. It used to stay closed unless there was actual information to be displayed. Now, regardless of it being empty, it starts up expanded. It's highly annoying and unnecessary if it's empty. Please fix this so it only expands if there's something to be displayed.

    Hello @isonclubikin,

Thanks for sharing those details! I checked on our internal ticket for this issue, and I can see that our teams are still actively investigating the behavior with the expanded bottom section in investment account registers. They're working toward a resolution, but at this time, there isn't a confirmed ETA for a fix.

To help with the investigation, please consider submitting a problem report directly from Quicken by following these steps:

    1. In Quicken, go to Help > Report a Problem.
    2. Enter a brief description of the issue and include "Bottom Section of Investing Accounts Always Expanded" in the subject line.
    3. Make sure to check the boxes to include a screenshot and log files (if applicable).
    4. Click Send to Quicken.

We really appreciate your help and patience as we work toward a solution!
