cannot paste text into RegisterMemo field in R61.21

I have been copying amazon transaction number text into the RegisterMemo field for years. Now, in Windows 10, Version R61.21, pasting is not working. There is no paste in the context menu. Ctrl-v does not work. The Edit menu at top left has a paste command, with shortcut Ctrl-v. It does not work to click this command when the text cursor is in the RegisterMemo field. Is this a bug, or deliberate?

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention! I tested this in my own Quicken program, and I was able to paste text into the Register Memo field without any issues, so I was not able to replicate the behavior you’re experiencing.

    To better understand the issue, could you provide some additional details?

    • Are you able to paste text into other fields within Quicken, or is this only happening in the Memo field?
    • Does this occur in all registers or just specific accounts?
    • Does the issue still occur after restarting Quicken or your computer?
    • Where is your Quicken data file currently stored? Is it saved on your local hard drive ( C: drive), an external drive or cloud-synced folder (such as Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive), or a network location? Storing the file in an external, cloud-synced, or network location can sometimes cause connectivity or corruption issues.

    In Edit / Preferences / Setup what is your setting for "Keyboard mappings"?
    Use "Windows Standard" to make CTRL-C/V/X/Z work in individual data fields.
