Quicken Classic Deluxe crashes when I try to sort by check number

I'm running Quicken Classic Deluxe in Windows 11. Today, I wanted to sort by check number to make it a bit easier to enter information about payee and category. After about 10 seconds, Quicken shut down with no error message. I restarted Quicken and tried again with the same result.
This is not a huge problem, but it's clearly a bug and somewhat annoying. Is anybody else having the same issue?

Hello @LenBurman,
We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention!
First, before you perform any troubleshooting, please save a backup of your data file (just in case).
I can see that you’re currently on the latest release of R61.21. However, I’d recommend reinstalling the current release using the manual patch. This is because it’s possible that the issue you’re experiencing could be due to the initial update not installing properly.
You can download and apply the Manual Patch from this support article and install it over your current version.
If reinstalling the patch doesn’t resolve the issue, let me know, and we’ll move forward with additional troubleshooting steps.
Thank you!
