Quicken for Mac not updating from 8.1.0 to 8.1.1

I am running Quicken Classic under MAC OS Sequoia 15.1. When Quicken starts it prompts for an update from 8.1.0 to 8.1.1. After acceptance it tries to install 8.1.1, fails, and then loops back to 8.1.0, but prompting me to update again. After several tries I eventually decline the update, and it reverts to normal behaviour under 8.1.0. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The easiest way to get around this type of problem, normally, is to take your Quicken.app in your Applications folder and drag it to the Trash. Then log into your Quikcen.com account (Sign In > My Account), and on the "Welcome to your Account" page, scroll down to Download Quicken, and click the Quicken for Mac button. When the installer downloads, double-click it and allow it to install a fresh — and current — copy of the Quicken.app in your Applications folder.
